Thanks to the financial support received from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 under the “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs” Program – Bulgaria within the GreeINN project, ten representatives of member companies of the Black Sea Energy Cluster have the opportunity to participate in one of the most – the good – the big international conferences on applied artificial intelligence, which are held in the city of Halden in the period 17-18.04.2024.

The AI+ international event, the role and application focus on artificial intelligence, offers an incredible arena for sharing competences and interaction in the field of artificial intelligence to provide a solid foundation for success with a computer-driven economy and green innovation.

Organized by the Norwegian project partner – Smart Innovation Norway (SIN), the conference offers the Bulgarian delegates new knowledge in the field, creation of sustainable contacts with other organizations and businesses, new ideas for future collaborations with Norwegian companies and cluster organizations.

In the presence of over 300 international guests and speakers, the representatives of Bulgarian companies have an incredible chance to have another two days at the forefront of AI trends and innovations and to hear what new offers these tsunamis in our life, called artificial intelligence: AI+ Business, AI+ Risk, AI+ Education!

The conference is organized by Smart Innovation Norway (official GreeINN project partner), eSmart Systems, Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), Østfold University College, Halden Chamber of Commerce, Halden Municipality and Cluster for Applied AI.

The last day of the working visit was dedicated to business meetings between the Black Sea Energy Cluster and the hosts from Norway. The Bulgarian representatives have the opportunity to visit the Smart Innovation Arena – a digital arena for simulations and virtual tests of the Norwegian partner and to meet representatives of the Cluster for Applied IA and Decommissioning cluster.
